How do I register for a course?

On this page, scroll up to ‘Marketplace’ and click on the course you would like to study. Click on ‘ADD TO CART’ and then ‘CHECKOUT’. Complete the registration questions and payment prompts. You will be emailed your login details and if you wish to study straight away click on ‘My courses’ at the top of the payment page to click through to the course.

I am having trouble logging in. What do I need to do?

Contact support on support.training@tafensw.edu.au. 

How long will courses be available?

You will have access to the course for six months after payment and you are enrolled.

If I fail the assessment, can I retake it?

You have 3 attempts at the assessment. You will need to purchase the course again for a 4th attempt.  Each time you complete the assessment, the questions will be different. 

Who are these courses designed for?

Anyone who works in, or is interested in, the building and construction industry.

Do I get qualifications after completing a course?

No, courses on this platform are not accredited but they will count as points towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

When will other courses be available?

Five new courses are currently being developed and will be available in December 2020.

What is the pass mark for assessments?

The pass mark is 70%.

Are there any eligibility requirements?

There are no eligibility requirements to complete courses on this platform. Just your interest and enthusiasm!

Are you a Design or Building Practitioner?

Are you a Design or Building Practitioner? You must complete the Navigating the Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) legislation course, and The value of Australian Standards course, before registering as a Design Practitioner or Building Practitioner under new building industry reforms.
Note – this course is not mandatory before registering as a Professional Engineer.
